In general, tunnel duct have 2 types. One is positive pressure hose and the other one is negative pressure hose. In the outlet of ventilation, you need the positive one. But if you use it to ventilate, then you need the negative one.

In the construction, there are natural and mechanical ventilation. Natural ventilation is achieved by the temp difference inside and outside the tunnel. Because it cause differential pressure. Generally, it’s just for short and straight tunnel. Besides, the outside weather affect it greatly. Thus the natural ventilation is less. While the most is the mechanical one. On such occasion, you have to use tunnel ventilation hose.
