However, if you pump the water from a lake or river, PVC hose will not be suitable. Because there are sand and other impurities inside the water. Thus it may corrode PVC hose. On such occasion, a PU lining fire hose will be great. Because it can bear acid, alkali and corrosion. Besides, it has much longer service life.
If works together with large spray machine, PVC lining fire hose is also not ideal. Because it can’t bear high pressure. In fact, PVC lining fire hose is gradually replaced by PU hose.
