Rubber lined fire hose is deliver water, foam or other flame retardant materials. The basic usage is fire fighting, but it’s also suitable for others. For example, it’s widely used in agriculture. Besides, it’s also an ideal hose for mine and chemical industry.
Description
Rubber lined fire hose absorbs synthetic rubber as the lining. So that it has excellent low and high temperature resistance. It can still work at cold weather without brittle. While it can work at 80℃ without soften. Smooth inner tube makes the water flow without any barrier. Thus the flow voltage is large.
Both of the hose end have a connector. While there is wire spiral on the end. To avoid the wire harms the hose, there is a protect cover on the end. In some case, you have to deliver water from a long distance. But your hose is not long enough. On such occasion, you can connect 2 hoses together with a joint. It’s very easy and quick.
Some notes about rubber lined fire hose
1.When cover the joint on the hose, you must pad the protect cover. Then tight it with a wire or clamp.
2.Avoid sharp things and oil when settle it. If your hose has to cross the road, use a protect bridge. Then you can avoid vehicles crush and destroy it.
3.In cold winter, you should prevent it from freezing. When you don’t use it in winter, keep the water pump work slowly.
4.After use, clean it well, especially the hose that deliver foam. Because the reserved foam will hurt the rubber. Once there was any oil on on the hose, clean it with warm water or soap. Then dry and coil it up.
